ENVIROLENE is a proprietary blend of C-1 through C-10 linear (normal) alcohols featuring a powerful 138 octane rating. With EPA registration approval for seamless blending and use in gasoline and diesel engines in all 50 states, ENVIROLENE can be utilized without engine modification as a total substitute (neat) fuel for flex-fuel vehicles, or as a blend stock to gasoline, aviation gasoline, kerosene jet fuel, petroleum-derived diesel, bio-diesel, synthetic diesel, locomotive diesel, home-heating oil, and bunker oil.
Think good, better, best as a way of understanding the comparative value of ethanol, methanol and higher mixed alcohol fuel. Higher mixed alcohol fuel contains about 60% more BTUs per unit volume than C1 methanol, and nearly 20% more BTUs than corn ethanol.
